Join this session for tips on how to use your camera settings to creatively capture nature in a visually interesting way. We will be looking at composition, focus, and colour.

Many professional offices and places of business have large prints gracing their wall space of things such as fields of flowers, a butterfly perched on a leaf, and a single dew drop on a rose petal. These beautiful images are all around us in nature. It just takes that special "eye" to not only see it but to capture it in a way that will turn that simple little piece of nature into a beautiful piece of art. We will learn how to use different angles, light and shadows, and settings to make subjects pop.

Great portrait photography session run by Sanro this weekend. He was very knowledgeable (including technical aspects e.g. light spectrums behind settings) and gave each of us individualised constructive feedback. I felt I really improved over the session and I have lots to get on a practice with. Sanro was so enthusiastic that the session went on longer than it should! It was great value for money - thank you so much Sanro!

This was a lucky shot. I sprayed this sprig of bluebells a few times with water then took a handheld shot using my new macro diffuser attached to my R7/Sigma 105 combo and Godox flash. It wasn't until I reviewed the image that I noticed the crab spider (Philodromus sp running crab spider).... Initially I worried that I had damaged the spider but she was fine and wandered off while I was shooting. She turned an average shot into something much more interesting..Taken at Beckenham Place Park

I have been out a couple of times recently trying to take some sunset/blue hour photos, I always seem to pick the wrong location with building work, cranes or something else getting in the way. This time some very professional looking photographers were in the very spot I wanted but in the end I was happy with where I found.

Decided to make a composite that resembles the photo that NASA took with their millions of dolllar photo equipment. 2 months ago I photographed the full moon and placed it on top of the most recent solar eclipse photo I took. The moon normally get its light from the sun so getting the perspective with moon visibility is impossible during an eclipse unless you have nasa gear. My photo was taken with a canon R5, RF400mm F2.8 and cropped in.
